Short Bio

Loop Cycle is a live looping cyborg who uses guitar, voice, beatbox and effects to create complex, dynamic pieces of exciting original music. His genre is termed Hybrid Fusion as it is a mix of everything. Loop Cycle has supported names such as Coldcut, The Petebox, Okilly Dokilly, John Shuttleworth and Interrobang (ex Chumbawamba). He has played venues such as The Drill Hall Lincoln, Fibbers York, The Met Lounge Peterborough, The Maze Nottingham, Stamford Arts Center, plus headlined various festivals and stages.

Loop Cycle is a live looping specialist, guitarist, beatboxer and composer of original music.

He quickly layers up exciting, dynamic and catchy music using a loop pedal and an array of different sounds and effects pedals.

At a Loop Cycle show, you will hear everything from beatbox, varied guitar styles, to synth sounds and special effects in a fusion spanning many different genres including, rock, funk, jazz, electronica, metal, dubstep and chillout to name a few. He describes his style as Hybrid Fusion, as it includes so many different genres.

Loop Cycle has supported well known artists such as Okilly Dokilly, Cold Cut (Ninja Tune Founders) Interrobang (ex-Chumbawamba) John Shuttleworth/Jilted John and famous liveloopers and beatboxers The Petebox and Penkyx.

Venues Loop Cycle has played at include Lincoln Drill Hall (main stage) Fibbers - York, The Maze - Nottingham, The Shed – Leicester, The Adelphi – Hull, Stamford Arts Center, and headline slots at Alston music festival along with numerous other festival appearances.

Loop Cycle has been played on BBC Introducing on a number of occasions and has many positive reviews from both audience members and industry professionals.

Most recently Loop Cycle has been exploring the world of live streaming in order to build more interest and bring more people in to live events.
